HSE is in the SSRN’s Top 100

In recent times a steady tendency was shown in the Higher School of Economics’ improvement in the SSRN’s ratings.

The placing of research papers on the Social Science Research Network site guarantees not only the bonus of communicating with colleagues, but also the opportunity to improve the Higher School of Economics ranking. The SSRN ranks universities, research centres and those authors who put up their articles and working papers up on SSRN’s database. These works are judged by the number of times the work is viewed, its number of downloads, its level of citations and also by the number of authors who contributed to it, along with various other guidelines.

In recent times a steady tendency was shown in the Higher School of Economics’ improvement in the SSRN’s ratings. Although the total number of downloads per paper put the HSE in the 141st place, in the last 12 months the number of downloads increased and HSE have taken 57th place.

The main reason of the improvement in the ratings is the high quality of the research which is carried out in HSE. Moreover, the creation of Higher School of Economics research paper series, the active use of the eJournal and subject-matter journals and possibilities for publishing the results of researches in HSE working paper series play a significant role.
